Mary Bryant Taylor, 75, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Roanoke Rapids, died Friday, April 13, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond.

She was a native of Halifax County, the daughter of the late Archie and Annie Whitby Bryant. Mary was a 1954 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School. She retired from International Paper after 40 years of service.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Kendrick Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Alice Taylor Nottingham and her husband, Blackwell, of Richmond, VA.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, April 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.
